I own all of the specialized shinobigatana from Yari no Hanzo, and this one is by far the best. The balance is perfect, the kami-hira maki is very nice to feel and hold, and the matte paint and simple look gives a very "lage / shadow" or "ninja feel" to the sword. Even though the hamon is etched, it is done very elegantly. I have not used it for any cutting however, but only for kata/iai.
