After about a year of intense use, I have to say that this Jo is sublime, perfect. Not s single scratch or dent. Handling is fantastic with its weight, surface finish is smooth and hands glide when they have to but it also provides grip when necessary. With its price, it's not for everyone, obviously, but this one will stay with you forever. Special positive mention goes for the customer service.

Amazing jo worth every penny!
I received the jo today and tried handling it as well as impact testing.
The impact resistance is astounding!It held well against full force bokken strikes without a dint!
The surface is sanded to perfection.The staff slides nicely and wants to be held.
As far as weight goes it's heavier than other jo on the market but that's nice.
Most importantly the customer service is amazing.They went out of their way to ensure complete customer satisfaction and refused to give me nothing but the best!
Satisfied with my purchase!

Un ottimo jo, altamente resistente, perfettamente dritto e liscio al punto tale da trovarlo piacevole al tatto.
La resistenza agli urti è estremamente notevole, inoltre il peso, una volta abituaticisi, lo rende preciso e ben impostato anche nel combattimento, non solo nei kata.

Bello, robusto (robustissimo) abbastanza ben bilanciato e solido. Pesa 2-300 gr in piu di un jo in quercia, quindi bisogna farci la mano, ma da grandi soddisfazioni, specialmente nella pratica intensa.
